Yacht Broker

Current Yachts is seeking an experienced, licensed Yacht Broker to join our Florida team. Unlike traditional brokerages, our brokers are supported by a robust media and content strategy that generates high quality, pre-qualified buyer and seller leads, reducing reliance on cold prospecting and allowing brokers to focus on what matters most: serving clients well.
We are looking for a broker who shares our mission of transparency and education in boat and yacht sales, and who wants to be part of a team-oriented culture rather than a purely transactional, commission-driven environment.
We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for boating and the water, paired with a customer-first attitude that puts client trust ahead of any single sale.
Responsibilities
Guide buyers and sellers through the yacht transaction process with transparency and a client-first approach
Convert leads generated through Current Yachts' media and content channels into active clients (This entails ongoing communication by email, phone call, and texts to engage with prospects, answer client questions, suggest inventory for consideration, coordinate showings, etc.)
Research relevant boat listings, comparable sales, and other market data to help clients in their due diligence to buy or sell
Conduct vessel showings, trial runs, and negotiations on behalf of clients
Prepare and review purchase agreements, listing agreements, and related transaction documents
Coordinate with the transaction coordination and admin team to ensure smooth closings
Update notes, status, and deal stages in the company CRM
Maintain up to date knowledge of vessel inventory, market conditions, and pricing
Network with industry peers and other marine professionals
Represent the Current Yachts brand and mission in all interactions with clients, peers, and vendors including at key boat shows and other industry events as relevant
Qualifications
Active Florida yacht salesperson license required
Minimum one year of experience as a yacht broker with proven success you can quantify at the time you apply for the role
Strong knowledge of the sail and power yacht markets is a must
Demonstrated track record helping clients successfully buy and sell yachts
Reliable transportation required
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Genuine commitment to transparency and client education over high pressure sales
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team rather than solo, commission-driven operation
Compensation
Fixed salary starting at $50,000, plus a performance bonus ranging from $70,000 to $110,000+. This structure reflects our team-based approach: brokers are supported by shared marketing, admin, and transaction coordination resources, and compensation reflects overall client satisfaction and team performance rather than individual sales volume alone.
This is a different dynamic than the traditional ten percent commission model most brokers know. We believe the right broker will thrive here: instead of hunting for your own leads and carrying all the risk of a commission-only structure, you get a steady income, a team behind you, and benefits rarely offered in this industry. At the end of the day, our measure of success is a happy, repeat client whose trust and business we've earned as a team.

Full time, in person. We currently prefer a broker based on Florida's West Coast, but are open to candidates in other Southeast Florida regions.
