Role Description The Nephrology Consultant will provide specialized care to patients with kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, hypertension, and electrolyte disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient and inpatient consultations, reviewing diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. The consultant will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, guide dialysis management, and support preventive care and patient education on kidney health. Additional duties may include maintaining accurate medical records, participating in case discussions, and adhering to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mathura.
Qualifications
Advanced medical qualification in Internal Medicine with specialization or fellowship in Nephrology, along with valid medical registration/licensure.
Demonstrated clinical experience in managing chronic and acute kidney disorders, dialysis care, and related comorbidities.
Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in interpreting laboratory results and imaging relevant to nephrology.
Excellent communication skills for discussing treatment options, counseling patients and families, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Commitment to ethical clinical practice, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policies and national clinical guidelines.
Ability to work full time on-site in Mathura, with reliability, punctuality, and flexibility for clinical schedules.
Experience in teaching, mentoring, or participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives is an advantage.
Comfort with electronic medical records and basic digital tools used in hospital settings.
