Video Editor Wanted — Long-Form Educational Content (Freelance)
I'm hiring a mid-level video editor for a financial literacy and trading education YouTube channel, to work on 20-30 minute long-form videos published on an ongoing basis.
About the content:
Videos are educational concept pieces combining screen recordings (chart/market analysis), talking-head or voiceover narration, and occasional B-roll. The goal is a structured curriculum that takes viewers from foundational to institutional-level understanding.
Responsibilities:
Turn raw footage/screen recordings into a polished, engaging edit
Add captions, graphic overlays, and emphasis effects where needed
Manage pacing and cut flow to keep viewer retention high
Follow timecoded edit notes provided for each video
Meet agreed delivery deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience editing long-form content (podcast, educational, or documentary style) — portfolio required
Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Comfortable working with screen recordings and financial chart/graph visuals
Working proficiency in English for clear, responsive communication
Reliable, open to feedback, and responsive to revision requests
