Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Article Trainee role based in Indore. The Article Trainee will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining records, preparing working papers, and supporting audits and compliance assignments. Responsibilities may include assisting in tax return preparation, verifying documentation, drafting reports, and helping with internal controls and reconciliations. The role involves coordinating with senior team members, managing assigned client files, and adhering to established procedures and timelines. The position offers structured learning, exposure to professional standards, and opportunities to develop practical skills relevant to accounting, tax, and audit work.
Qualifications
Candidature as an article trainee (such as CA Article student or equivalent) with a strong interest in accounting, audit, and taxation.
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic taxation and audit concepts.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting or ERP software; ability to learn new tools as needed.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good time management, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple assignments within deadlines.
Ethical mindset, willingness to follow professional standards, and openness to feedback and continuous learning.
Relevant academic background in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field; prior internship experience is an advantage.
