Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Full-Stack Developer Intern. The intern will collaborate with the development team to build and maintain web applications, working across both front-end and back-end components. Day-to-day tasks include implementing user interfaces, writing and testing server-side logic, integrating APIs, and ensuring responsive, accessible design. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, documenting features, and contributing to community-facing tools that support Cambedor’s events and programs. The intern will be encouraged to learn new technologies, share knowledge with peers, and actively engage with the broader Cambedor community.
Qualifications
Front-End Development skills, including experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills, with familiarity in at least one server-side language or framework.
Interest or experience in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end systems into cohesive applications.
Basic understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
Prior project experience (personal, academic, or open source) demonstrating practical coding and debugging skills is a plus.
