Role Description This full-time remote Purchase role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities for assigned contracts and projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and monitoring order status to ensure on-time delivery. The role involves analyzing pricing and terms, comparing vendor proposals, and supporting negotiations to achieve cost-effective and compliant purchasing decisions. The Purchase professional will maintain accurate documentation, update purchasing records, and collaborate with internal teams to address requirements, resolve issues, and improve purchasing processes. The role also requires adherence to company and client procurement policies, as well as consistent reporting on purchasing metrics and performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing to manage the full procurement cycle efficiently.
Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Purchase Orders to oversee requisitions, approvals, and order execution.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate vendor options, pricing, and contracts for optimal outcomes.
Knowledge of basic procurement compliance, vendor management, and inventory or materials management is beneficial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement roles, and familiarity with ERP or purchasing software, is an advantage.
A diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
