Marketing Intern

Responsibilities
Assist with developing and organizing content for Instagram, YouTube, and Substack
Research content trends, audience interests, and relevant wellness topics
Help brainstorm and develop Reels, posts, Stories, and other short-form content
Support email marketing, including newsletters, promotional campaigns, and audience engagement
Assist with blogs, content calendars and campaign planning
Help repurpose existing yoga, wellness, and educational content across multiple platforms
Research potential collaborations, podcasts, influencers, and other audience-growth opportunities
Support launches, workshops, retreats, memberships, and other AwakenAwe offerings
Track basic marketing metrics and help identify opportunities for growth
Assist with website and marketing copy as needed
Participate in brainstorming around brand positioning, messaging, and customer experience
Complete occasional competitive and market research within the wellness industry
About the Role
AwakenAwe is seeking a creative, organized, and curious Marketing Intern to support the growth of our wellness brand. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across content marketing, social media, email marketing, audience growth, and brand strategy.
The ideal candidate is interested in wellness, yoga, psychology, healthcare, lifestyle, or personal development and wants to learn how a small, founder-led brand builds an engaged community and converts that community into customers and members.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, advertising, public relations, or a related field
Strong written communication skills
Creative and comfortable generating ideas
Organized and able to manage multiple projects
Familiarity with Instagram, Canva, Google Workspace, or similar tools
Interest in wellness, yoga, fitness, mental wellbeing, or personal development
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
Photography, video editing, copywriting, or social media experience is a plus
Ideal Candidate:
You don't need to know everything about marketing. We’re looking for someone who is creative, dependable, curious, and excited to learn. You should enjoy experimenting with content, understanding what makes people engage, and thinking strategically about how a brand connects with its audience.
