About The Role
We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our team on a contract basis, responsible for managing our website from strategic planning to execution and ongoing maintenance. This is a comprehensive role that extends beyond simple build tasks; it involves leading the entire design process, including conducting audits, developing creative concepts, and ensuring the final website aligns with our brand and business objectives. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Head of Marketing Communications, content creators, and brand teams to produce a compelling and user-friendly website that effectively communicates our value proposition. The position requires a proactive, organized individual capable of managing the website lifecycle independently, with an emphasis on delivering a high-quality, optimized digital presence that supports our go-to-market initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end website design and development
Proficiency in HTML5 and experience hosting on Google infrastructure
Knowledge of SEO best practices and AI-driven search optimization
Exceptional creative instincts with a clear design point of view
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience managing website audits, ideation, and testing processes
Organizational skills to oversee live builds and ongoing site maintenance
Full-time availability through December 18, 2026
Based in the Pacific time zone, preferably in the Seattle area, with ability to commute weekly for in-person reviews
Experience with website redesigns for B2B or technology companies (preferred)
Familiarity with AI or agent-based products (preferred)
Experience collaborating with branding teams on visual identity (preferred)
Responsibilities
Lead the website strategy and oversee its implementation from initial audit to final publication
Conduct industry and competitive design audits to inform the creative direction
Collaborate on the development of the design framework and gather inspiration for creative concepts
Define page objectives and outline content and artwork requirements
Create and present creative concepts, leading reviews and iterations with stakeholders
Build and code the website in HTML5, ensuring structure, functionality, and aesthetics are aligned
Implement SEO and AI optimization strategies into site architecture and content
Coordinate with engineering teams for HubSpot integration and technical support
Manage communication with content and brand contributors to ensure timely delivery of assets
Conduct user testing with current customers, gather feedback, and refine the website accordingly
Ensure the website is published by the December 9, 2026, launch date
Monitor post-launch traffic and performance, making updates as needed
Maintain the website for the duration of the contract, updating content and features regularly
