Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop and refine mechanical designs for automation and control systems, including enclosures, mounting arrangements, and mechanical interfaces for building and industrial applications. Responsibilities include preparing detailed 3D models and drawings, performing design calculations, selecting materials and components, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications. The role involves collaborating with electrical, controls, and project teams, reviewing design inputs, supporting procurement with technical documentation, and assisting in resolving design-related issues during installation, testing, and commissioning. The Mechanical Design Engineer will also contribute to design optimization for reliability, manufacturability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
Proficiency in Product Design, including concept development, mechanical layout, and design validation.
Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience in designing mechanical solutions for industrial or building automation, control panels, or related systems is beneficial.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards, and apply good engineering judgment.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Good written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting, and coordination with project stakeholders.
