White Tree Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to a government client identify, define, and validate practical AI use cases. You will connect business needs with technical delivery, ensuring proposed solutions have clear requirements, measurable value, and appropriate human oversight.
This role works closely with business owners, end users, architects, governance specialists, and adoption consultants.
Responsibilities
Facilitate discovery workshops and document current business processes, pain points, and decision needs.
Assess AI use cases for business value, feasibility, data readiness, risk, and organizational impact.
Develop business requirements, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Define expected AI behavior, exception handling, human review, and escalation requirements.
Document data sources, business terminology, access needs, and relevant business rules.
Maintain traceability between requirements, solution decisions, governance requirements, and testing.
Coordinate user acceptance testing and track findings through resolution.
Define success measures and help business owners assess pilot results.
Qualifications
Experience delivering business analysis for technology, analytics, or process improvement initiatives.
Strong workshop facilitation, requirements documentation, and process mapping skills.
Ability to distinguish business needs from proposed technical solutions.
Working understanding of generative AI capabilities, limitations, and risks.
Experience collaborating across business, technical, and governance teams.
Ability to develop clear, testable acceptance criteria.
Preferred Experience
Enterprise AI pilots, conversational analytics, or workflow automation.
Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Copilot Studio, or related enterprise platforms.
Data governance, semantic models, or reporting requirements.
Public-sector or regulated-industry projects.
Expected Deliverables
A prioritized use-case inventory, requirements package, process maps, acceptance criteria, and user acceptance testing and pilot assessment materials.
Citizenship and Work Location Requirements
Candidates must be U.S. citizens. This role supports a government engagement that prohibits offshoring. All work, including access to client systems and data, must be performed within the United States throughout the engagement. Offshore delivery and subcontracting are not permitted.
