The program focuses on designing and optimizing network architectures that sustain mission-critical operations across diverse locations.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices and three data centers. This role ensures the design, implementation, security, and optimization of network systems vital to the organization''s mission-critical operations. The position significantly impacts the reliability, security, and performance of multi-site networking environments and hybrid infrastructure.
3. Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across corporate offices and data centers
Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Ensure high availability and performance of WAN/LAN connectivity between sites
Support data center networking including spine-leaf architecture, VLANs, VXLAN, and segmentation
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot across multiple environments
Implement and maintain network security controls such as ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS
Collaborate with systems, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to support hybrid infrastructure
Perform capacity planning, hardware/software upgrades, and lifecycle management
Maintain documentation for network topology, configurations, and procedures
Support incident response and root cause analysis for network outages
4. Requirements:
Ability to pass background checks comparable to DoD Secret
5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Experience with enterprise networking vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWall
Hands-on experience with multi-site WAN environments
Knowledge of data center networking concepts and architectures
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Solid understanding of network security principles
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000
