Role Description
The Business Development Specialist (MBA Intern) role is a remote internship focused on supporting PROJXON’s growth initiatives and client engagement efforts. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying and qualifying leads, and assisting in the development of outreach strategies to expand the company’s client base. The intern will help prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports, and collaborate with consulting and marketing teams to align business development activities with client solutions. Additional tasks may involve maintaining CRM data, supporting relationship management with prospective and existing clients, and contributing to strategic projects aimed at improving processes and driving revenue growth.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess business performance, and support strategic decision-making.
Effective communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication and professional presentation skills.
Experience or coursework related to lead generation and pipeline development, with an interest in sales or business development.
Market research skills to gather, analyze, and synthesize industry, competitor, and customer insights.
Customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport, respond to inquiries, and support client relationship management.
Current enrollment in an MBA or equivalent graduate business program, with a strong interest in consulting and growth strategy.
Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM platforms); familiarity with digital and tech-driven businesses is a plus.
Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and openness to learning and feedback.
