Position: Global Outreach & Sales Intern

About the Role
Scholar Planet is looking for a proactive, communication-focused, and sales-oriented intern to support our global outreach, lead generation, business development, and sales activities.
The intern will assist in identifying international schools, educational institutions, organizations, and potential partners, initiating communication, managing follow-ups, and supporting the conversion of leads into meetings, partnerships, and sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Outreach & Lead Generation
Research and identify potential international schools, educational institutions, organizations, NGOs, EdTech companies, and other potential partners.
Identify relevant decision-makers such as principals, directors, founders, management representatives, and other key stakeholders.
Build and maintain an organized database of potential clients and partners.
Identify new countries, markets, and opportunities for Scholar Planet's international expansion.
2. Sales & Business Development
Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, calls, and other relevant channels.
Prepare and send professional and personalized introductory messages and emails.
Understand the basic requirements of prospects and communicate Scholar Planet's offerings accordingly.
Generate qualified leads and support the sales team in converting them into meetings, demos, partnerships, and potential customers.
Assist with proposals, presentations, product information, and other sales-related materials.
3. Follow-ups & Relationship Management
Maintain regular and timely follow-ups with prospects.
Track responses, discussions, meetings, proposals, and next steps.
Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective clients and partners.
Reconnect with interested or previously contacted prospects to explore further opportunities.
4. Meetings & Coordination
Assist in scheduling meetings and product demonstrations with international prospects.
Coordinate with the internal team before and after prospect meetings.
Participate in calls and demonstrations when required.
Ensure timely sharing of requested information and follow-up after meetings.
5. Research & Reporting
Conduct research on international education markets, schools, organizations, and competitors.
Identify relevant events, networks, associations, and partnership opportunities.
Maintain updated records of leads, outreach, follow-ups, meetings, and conversions.
Submit regular updates on outreach activities, qualified leads, and sales opportunities.
6. Additional Responsibilities
Support other sales, marketing, business development, outreach, research, and operational activities as required.
Take up additional tasks assigned by the management/team based on business requirements.
Work collaboratively with the team and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Key Skills
Strong English communication and writing skills.
Good research and lead-generation abilities.
Interest in sales, business development, and international outreach.
Good follow-up, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable communicating with international prospects.
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel, LinkedIn, and email communication.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
Performance & Incentive
Fixed Compensation: ₹10,000–₹15,000 per month.
Sales Incentive: Up to 10% of the sales generated, based on the individual's contribution towards lead generation, conversion, and successful closure, as per Company policy.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business requirements and the candidate's capabilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates interested in global sales, business development, EdTech, international outreach, and client acquisition are preferred.
Prior experience in sales, lead generation, business development, or outreach will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Primary Focus: Global Outreach, Lead Generation, Sales, Business Development, Follow-ups & Revenue Generation.
