Role Description: The Web Designer will design and build clean, user-friendly websites for local service businesses, following Mumo Agency’s streamlined packages and delivery timelines. In this full-time, remote role, the Web Designer will translate client requirements into wireframes and visual concepts, create graphics and layouts, and implement responsive designs using front-end web technologies. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with project managers, refining designs based on client feedback, preparing image and content layouts, and ensuring fast, accessible, and mobile-friendly sites. The role also involves maintaining design consistency across projects, adhering to brand guidelines, and contributing to the continual improvement of the agency’s design standards and processes.
Requirements:
Strong Web Design skills with a focus on clear information hierarchy, usability, and conversion-oriented layouts.
Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics creation for web, including icons, banners, and image optimization.
Basic understanding of HTML & CSS is good to have.
Demonstrated ability in Responsive Web Design to ensure sites perform well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Familiarity with common website builders or CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace or similar tools).
Strong attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, and comfort managing multiple projects remotely.
English Fluency with effective written and verbal communication skills for working with clients and internal teams.
Previous experience designing sites for small or local businesses is a plus; a portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.
