2D/3D Animator

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a 2D/3D Animator based in Bengaluru. The Animator will create and refine character and environment animations, working closely with directors, artists, and technical teams to meet project requirements and deadlines. Daily responsibilities include developing 2D and 3D animation sequences, collaborating on storyboards and animatics, and ensuring smooth motion and expressive performance for characters. The role involves working with rigged models, integrating motion capture data where required, and optimizing animations for different formats and platforms. The Animator will also participate in reviews, incorporate feedback, and maintain consistent quality across all deliverables.
Qualifications
Strong skills in 2D & 3D Animation and Animation for characters, environments, and visual effects.
Proficiency in Rigging and Motion Capture workflows to support high-quality, realistic movement.
Hands-on experience with Blender and related tools for modeling, rigging, and animation production.
Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, staging, acting) and visual storytelling.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, take feedback constructively, and meet production timelines.
Portfolio or showreel demonstrating 2D and 3D animation work; experience in entertainment, games, or media is an advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in Animation, Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
