Role Description This full-time, on-site Accountant role is based in Varanasi and supports the financial and accounting operations of RAJ SONS AUTO PRIVATE LIMITED. The Accountant will prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and vouchers, while ensuring timely posting of transactions. Daily responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flows, and assisting with invoicing and billing. The role also involves preparing periodic financial reports, supporting tax compliance and statutory filings, and coordinating with auditors as needed. The Accountant will collaborate with management to track expenses, review budgets, and provide data to support informed business decisions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting principles, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial reporting.
Ability to handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring with accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel and other basic office productivity tools.
Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and documentation required for audits and regulatory filings.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Prior experience in an automotive or trading environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
