Role Description The Director of Sales Marketing is a part-time remote role responsible for leading Oryne’s go-to-market efforts and driving revenue growth. This role oversees sales strategy, marketing campaigns, and pipeline development, aligning commercial objectives with product positioning and customer needs. Day-to-day tasks include defining target markets, setting sales goals, managing sales operations processes, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives with product and customer support teams. The Director will design and execute marketing programs, optimize messaging across digital channels, and establish metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and conversion rates. Additional responsibilities include building and mentoring a small sales and marketing team, nurturing key customer relationships, and identifying business development opportunities and partnerships that expand Oryne’s presence.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in Sales and Business Development, with the ability to create and execute strategies that drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Proficiency in Sales Operations and Team Management, including forecasting, pipeline management, process optimization, and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong Customer Service orientation, with a track record of building long-term customer relationships and translating feedback into actionable improvements.
Background in marketing or growth roles, with skills in demand generation, digital marketing, and positioning SaaS or AI products to diverse audiences.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent the company externally.
Experience working in startups or fast-paced technology environments, ideally with AI, productivity, or SaaS products.
Comfort with remote collaboration tools and the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet goals in a part-time, distributed setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
