Role Description The Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vallam, responsible for maintaining and improving product and process quality across the facility. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing quality standards, conducting inspections and audits, monitoring production processes, and analyzing data to identify quality issues or trends. The role involves collaborating with production, maintenance, and management teams to resolve nonconformities, implement corrective and preventive actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer also prepares and maintains quality documentation, supports internal and external quality reviews, and ensures compliance with relevant industry and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Quality Engineering and Quality Management, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain quality systems.
Hands-on experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and process monitoring.
Capability to assess and improve Product Quality through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methods.
Knowledge of relevant quality standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, SPC, control plans, FMEA) is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technical field preferred, with prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to document and communicate findings clearly.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a dynamic production environment.
Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance requirements, and facility operations is an advantage.
