About the Opportunity

The hiring organization is seeking candidates for Events Coordination - Multiple Levels to support an upcoming program cycle. This posting covers two key roles: Events Manager and Events Coordinator. Together, these roles lead and execute virtual events, support participant-facing Program Organizers (POs), manage real-time issue resolution, and drive program completion.
The Events Manager sets the overall execution strategy, manages live event quality, and directly supervises the Events Coordinator. The Events Coordinator provides primary event support, acts as the first line of contact for Program Organizers during their shifts, and assists in executing daily operational plans.
Role Details and Compensation
• Role: Events Coordination - Multiple Levels (Events Manager and Events Coordinator tracks)
• Location: Remote (United States)
• Employment Type: Full time
• Schedule: Full-time cycle role requiring a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, to accommodate recruitment and event volume. A six-day workweek is anticipated during the final stretch starting in October and running through Election Day.
• Events Manager Timeline: Anticipated start date of September 22, 2026, and end date of November 6, 2026.
• Events Coordinator Timeline: Anticipated start date of September 29, 2026, and end date of November 6, 2026.
• Events Manager Compensation: $6,000 per month
• Events Coordinator Compensation: $5,250 per month
Key Responsibilities
Events Manager Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end execution of virtual events, ensuring participants are informed and supported while maintaining consistent presentation standards.
• Directly manage the Events Coordinator, providing ongoing direction, coaching, and daily operational feedback.
• Monitor event metrics and performance data to implement actionable program and material enhancements that boost participant completion.
• Collaborate with content logistics and incoming communications managers to update program FAQs and knowledge base tools for live events.
Events Coordinator Responsibilities:
• Support and oversee live virtual events, maintaining quality, resolving participant issues, and identifying process improvements to share with the Events Manager.
• Serve as the first level of support for Program Organizers during event shifts, answering real-time questions and escalating complex matters.
Shared Responsibilities:
• Implement a comprehensive training program for more than 50 Program Organizers to prepare them to lead interactive virtual events.
• Co-lead shift check-in calls throughout each day to deliver programmatic updates and keep staff aligned with event objectives.
• Serve as on-duty shift managers in communication channels, clarifying information, addressing questions, and managing participant issues.
• Provide regular evaluations and feedback regarding individual Program Organizer performance to program leadership.
• Coordinate across departments to resolve escalated issues during live events, involving senior leadership when necessary.
• Adapt to evolving operational needs by taking on additional duties as program requirements change.
Required Qualifications
• Access to a functional computer and reliable internet access.
• For Events Manager: Demonstrated experience managing and leading staff.
• Strong, warm communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use program data to guide daily operations and exercise sound judgment regarding when to escalate issues to senior leadership.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure, adapt to various communication styles, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Commitment to engaging participants with varying levels of experience and ensuring accessibility across communications.
Preferred Qualifications
• For Events Manager: Experience managing external-facing teams.
• For Events Coordinator: Prior leadership or team captain experience.
• For Events Coordinator: Experience leading or supervising volunteers or part-time staff.
