Role: Technical Lead
As a Technical Lead, you will own the technical aspects of projects and drive the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. You will act as a bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders while providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering excellence.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable software architectures, managing development lifecycles, and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and engineering best practices for the platform.
Design and architect solutions for complex technical problems.
Ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of deployed applications.
Drive high standards around code quality, code reviews, automated testing, and engineering practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive effective resolutions.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to accelerate product and engineering outcomes.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
5–8 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
Strong experience in software architecture and system design.
Prior experience architecting and solving complex technical problems is a must.
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
Good understanding of Git, DevOps workflows, Sentry, Asana, and related engineering tools.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
Passion for systems, architecture, and building scalable platforms.
Strong interest in leveraging AI to identify opportunities for exponential improvement.
