Role Description The Civil Engineer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, contributing to both heritage restoration and contemporary construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, assisting in project planning, and coordinating with site supervisors, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation. The role involves conducting site inspections, monitoring construction activities, checking structural elements, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and relevant codes. The Civil Engineer will also support stormwater management planning, review technical drawings and reports, and help resolve engineering issues that arise during construction.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to heritage and modern structures.
Experience as a Civil Engineer in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management concepts and practices relevant to urban, residential, and commercial construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and familiarity with local building codes and standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Experience with heritage building restoration or structural rehabilitation is an advantage.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Ahmedabad and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
