About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editing Intern to join our remote team.
The intern will work on editing both long-form and short-form video content for our digital platforms. This is a great opportunity for a college student who enjoys video editing, understands social media content, and wants to build a strong professional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Edit long-form videos for YouTube and other digital platforms.
Edit short-form content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media videos.
Add appropriate cuts, transitions, captions, text, graphics, music, sound effects, and other elements to make videos engaging.
Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips.
Ensure videos are visually engaging, well-paced, and suitable for the target audience.
Work with the content and training team to understand the objective and style of each video.
Maintain consistency in editing style, branding, and overall video quality.
Deliver edited videos within agreed timelines.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a college/university degree.
Strong interest in video editing and digital content creation.
Good understanding of short-form and long-form video formats.
Hands-on experience with video editing software such as CapCut is required.
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar software is a plus.
Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, captions, music, and visual elements.
Creative mindset and strong attention to detail.
Ability to take feedback and make revisions.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
