Role Description
Chief Operating Officer — Operations, Partnerships & Institutional Growth
PoC is building an AI-native economic unit for human creation.
We are looking for a hands-on COO who can turn founder architecture into coordinated execution across payments, Bitcoin infrastructure, institutional partnerships, operations and market deployment.
This is not a traditional corporate COO role. The mandate is to reduce founder operating load, move external relationships into execution, and build a lean operating company around PoC.
What you will own
* Translate founder strategy into executable operating priorities
* Lead institutional business development and strategic partnerships
* Drive relationships with BTC custody providers, card/payment partners, issuer/program managers and other financial infrastructure providers
* Coordinate legal, accounting, compliance and company-formation work
* Own provider onboarding and institutional pilot execution
* Coordinate engineering and external specialists without creating unnecessary management layers
* Support investor and strategic-capital discussions alongside the founder and Strategic Capital Partner
* Maintain clear operating status across product, capital, partnerships and deployment
* Help move PoC from Alpha into production and institutional adoption
What we are looking for
Strong experience across several of the following:
* fintech / payments infrastructure
* card networks, issuing or banking APIs
* Bitcoin / digital assets / custody
* institutional partnerships and enterprise BD
* regulated financial infrastructure
* startup operations
* provider negotiations and deployment
You should be technically fluent enough to work directly with engineers and infrastructure partners, while also being commercially strong enough to take a relationship from:
first conversation → diligence → commercial structure → internal coordination → signed deployment
What success looks like within the first 90 days:
* founder coordination load is materially reduced
* custody and payment-rail partnerships are actively progressing
* U.S. company setup and provider-readiness work is coordinated
* institutional opportunities move toward concrete pilots or agreements
* legal/accounting/provider dependencies are clearly owned
* company priorities, risks and next actions are visible without requiring constant founder follow-up
Compensation
* US$120,000 - $180,000 annual base salary, depending on experience and fit.
* plus approximately 0.5%–1.0% equity, depending on experience and fit.
* Equity subject to standard vesting.
* Initial 90-day performance review.
Location
United States or UAE preferred.
The role may be remote, but candidates should be able to operate effectively across U.S. and UAE time zones and support U.S. market development.
Stage
Pre-seed. PoC Alpha is nearing public testing, with U.S. expansion, institutional deployment, BTC custody and PoCPAY/payment infrastructure as the next operating priorities.
