Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to help automate cloud infrastructure, application deployments, and CI/CD processes. The role will work with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps tools to improve deployment reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency. Success in this position means building repeatable infrastructure, reliable deployment pipelines, and well-monitored cloud environments while reducing manual operational effort.
Responsibilities
Design, provision, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub, and related tools.
Build, manage, and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Amazon ECR, Kubernetes/EKS, and ECS Fargate.
Implement GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD.
Monitor applications and infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM least-privilege access, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and secure credential management.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, container, deployment, networking, and application issues.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash and Python.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment processes, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud services, including VPC, EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools, including AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, and Git.
Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
Basic scripting experience with Bash and Python.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and deployment best practices.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
DevOps or cloud certifications are an advantage.
