Role Description The Country Head–Europe will lead Microtec Educational Services’ strategy, operations, and growth initiatives across European markets. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thrissur, responsible for developing market-entry plans, building strategic partnerships with educational institutions and organizations, and overseeing regional business development activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing regional teams, setting performance targets, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring high-quality delivery of student-focused services and programs. The role involves close collaboration with global leadership to align European operations with overall company objectives, as well as regular stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and reporting. The Country Head–Europe will also represent the organization at events, strengthen brand presence, and drive continuous improvement in processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
Leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing regional or country-level operations and cross-functional teams.
Strategic planning and business development capabilities, including market analysis, partnership building, and growth execution in international or education-focused environments.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with institutions, partners, and internal teams.
Operational and financial management skills, including budgeting, performance monitoring, and process optimization.
Proven experience in education services, career guidance, or related sectors, with a passion for student success and talent development.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field; international experience is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Thrissur, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Adaptability, cultural awareness, and problem-solving skills to navigate diverse European markets and regulatory environments.
