Role Description The Financial Director at Late Night Ledgiers LLC is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management for the organization and select client accounts. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting financial statements, monitoring financial performance, and preparing periodic financial reports for leadership. The Financial Director will analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic finance recommendations to support sustainable growth. The role also involves refining financial processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and collaborating with other team members to support operational and strategic decisions. Qualifications
Strong finance and financial planning skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Proficiency in financial statements and financial reporting, with the ability to prepare and interpret balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
Experience with accounting or finance software and tools (e.g., Excel, cloud-based accounting platforms)
Solid understanding of financial controls, compliance, and best practices in corporate finance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is a plus
Prior experience in a financial leadership or director-level role, preferably in a consulting, services, or small-to-mid-sized business environment
