Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing civil works at project sites in Pune, ensuring that designs are implemented accurately and safely. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising construction activities, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors, and verifying that work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations. The role involves planning and monitoring site execution schedules, inspecting materials and workmanship, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Site Civil Engineer will also support stormwater and drainage systems implementation, maintain detailed site reports and documentation, and contribute to quality control and safety practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.
Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary design and construction professionals.
Proficiency in Planning activities for site execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with contractors and vendors.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure, including drainage systems, grading, and erosion control measures.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Experience in site supervision for building, landscape, or infrastructure projects, preferably in an architectural or multidisciplinary design environment.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations, and commitment to safety and quality assurance at site.
Ability to work on-site in Pune full time, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
Proficiency in basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), and comfort with preparing technical reports and documentation.
