Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HR Manager role based in Surat. The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for the textile manufacturing environment. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, managing attendance and payroll inputs, administering employee benefits, and maintaining HR records and compliance documentation. The role also involves handling employee relations, supporting performance management processes, coordinating training and development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with management and department heads to support organizational goals and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong HR operations skills, including recruitment, onboarding, HR documentation, and workforce planning.
Candidates should possess employee relations and engagement skills, including conflict resolution, counseling, and performance management support.
Candidates should possess knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR policy development relevant to manufacturing or textiles.
Candidates should possess skills in payroll coordination, attendance management, and HR data/reporting using HRIS or similar tools.
Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Candidates should possess organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; professional HR certifications are an added advantage.
Prior experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager, ideally in textiles, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting, is highly beneficial.
