About the Role
JA Foods is building its own premium, D2C food brand, marking our expansion into the premium dry fruits category with innovative packaging. As part of this new project, we are looking for an experienced Packaging Technologist to join us at the ground level and take on a hands-on role in developing packaging solutions for our food product line. This is a collaborative, cross-functional role offering genuine exposure to end-to-end packaging development.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and work closely with Food Technologists, packaging vendors, and the Operations team on packaging development
Support the design, development, and finalization of packaging solutions (Primary, secondary and tertiary packagaing) for dry fruits products
Liaise with vendors on material sourcing, prototyping, machinery, and quality standards
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure packaging aligns with product, brand, and operational requirements
Stay involved throughout the packaging development lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience across the process
Requirements
Qualification in Packaging Technology/ Polymer Science/ Food Technology
2-3 years of relevant experience in the FMCG Food category
Strong coordination and communication skills to work across teams and vendors
A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine eagerness to learn and innovate
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage project environment
