Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Education Teacher role based at Podar International School Waluj in Aurangabad. The Physical Education Teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons, ensuring students develop fundamental motor skills, fitness, and knowledge of healthy lifestyles. Daily responsibilities include organizing and supervising sports activities, coaching school teams, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe environment for all physical activities. The teacher will collaborate with other faculty to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum, assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and participate in school events, competitions, and assemblies. The role also involves promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and inclusion among all students.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Physical Education and Education, with the ability to design engaging learning experiences.
Experience in Sports Coaching, including organizing practice sessions and guiding students in individual and team sports.
Skills in Curriculum Development and Teaching, with the capacity to plan, implement, and evaluate PE programs aligned with school standards.
Relevant degree or certification in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.
Ability to manage large groups of students safely, with strong classroom and field management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, colleagues, and families.
Knowledge of child and adolescent development and best practices in school-based physical activity.
Experience in organizing school sports events and participation in inter-school competitions is an advantage.
