Accountant – Hotel Experience Only

IMPORTANT: HOTEL ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY
Candidates without prior hotel accounting experience will not be considered or shortlisted for the further selection process.
Lake View Hotel, a unit of Stay Blessed, is seeking an experienced Hotel Accountant only to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting for the property. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hotel accounting and a strong understanding of OTA reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting processes.
Responsibilities
Perform daily revenue verification and reconciliation
Conduct OTA reconciliation (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda, etc.)
Verify Front Office and Night Audit reports
Prepare and file GST returns
Calculate, deduct, and file TDS
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
Verify vendor invoices and process payments
Monitor and reconcile petty cash
Close monthly accounts and prepare MIS reports
Follow up on corporate receivables and outstanding payments
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with statutory and taxation requirements
Prepare and submit financial reports to management
Verify departmental expenses and inventory-related transactions
Assist in budget preparation and cost control initiatives
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel accounting operations (mandatory)
Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field preferred
