Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant will prepare invoices, support accounts payable and receivable processes, and assist with monthly and annual closing activities. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, preparing financial reports for management, and supporting internal and external audits. The role also requires coordinating with internal teams and vendors, maintaining accurate documentation, and using accounting software and spreadsheets to ensure timely, precise financial data.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, and statutory compliance relevant to manufacturing and distribution.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a structured, process-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or large distribution businesses is beneficial.
