WE ARE HIRING | STUDIO MANAGER / GALLERY & OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
FormForge | Noida
FormForge is a Noida-based sculpture and design studio working across site-specific artworks, public installations, sculptural objects and gallery-led presentations.
We are looking for a Studio Manager / Gallery & Operations Assistant to work closely with the Founder and studio team and take ownership of the day-to-day functioning of the studio.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate multiple sculpture and art projects from enquiry to delivery
* Track project timelines, drawings, approvals, production and installations
* Coordinate with clients, collectors, architects, designers, vendors, fabricators and internal teams
* Manage packing, transportation, logistics and installation of artworks
* Manage quotations, invoices, payments, expenses and payment follow-ups
* Maintain project documentation, artwork records and client information
* Maintain records of artwork dimensions, materials, editions, availability and locations
* Coordinate meetings, studio visits, site visits, exhibitions and gallery appointments
* Support exhibitions, gallery displays, artwork presentations and client interactions
* Assist with artwork placement and presentation at exhibitions and client sites
* Prepare artwork information, captions, exhibition notes and supporting materials
* Assist with portfolios, catalogues, presentations, exhibition decks and proposals
* Coordinate photography, artwork documentation and presentation materials
* Manage day-to-day studio activities and ensure tasks are followed through
* Research galleries, exhibitions, artists, institutions and relevant opportunities
* Support outreach for exhibitions, collaborations and gallery relationships
* Keep the Founder updated on project status, pending decisions, follow-ups and priorities
What We’re Looking For
* 2–5 years of relevant experience in studio management, gallery management, project coordination, art/design, or a related field
* Strong organisational and project coordination skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to coordinate with clients, collectors, galleries, architects, vendors and project teams
* Strong follow-through and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
* Proactive, responsible and comfortable taking ownership
* Good understanding or strong interest in contemporary art, sculpture and design
* Experience with artwork handling, exhibition installation or logistics will be an advantage
* Familiarity with PowerPoint, Canva, Google Workspace or similar tools
A background in art, design, museology, archaeology, gallery management, cultural organisations, artist studios or related fields would be valuable. However, strong project management, communication and coordination skills are equally important.
