Role Description The Freelance Voice Recording Contributor role is a remote, project-based position focused on creating high-quality voice recordings in specified languages. Day-to-day tasks include reading and recording scripted content, following pronunciation and intonation guidelines, and ensuring clear, consistent audio quality. Contributors will upload files according to technical specifications, label and organize recordings as instructed, and collaborate with project coordinators to meet deadlines. The role may also involve providing minor corrections or retakes when required and following data privacy and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Clear, natural speaking voice with good pronunciation and diction in at least one target language.
Ability to follow scripts, recording instructions, and linguistic guidelines accurately.
Basic technical skills to use recording devices or software and upload audio files.
Access to a quiet recording environment and suitable equipment (e.g., microphone, computer or smartphone).
Strong attention to detail, reliability in meeting project deadlines, and capacity to follow quality standards.
Previous experience in voice recording, voice-over, or audio-related projects is an advantage but not required.
Comfort working independently in a remote freelance setting and communicating clearly with project managers.
