Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable oversight, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The role will involve analyzing financial data, generating reports for management, and providing recommendations to improve financial efficiency and accuracy. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with project, procurement, and leadership teams to support cost control, forecasting, and financial planning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajgangpur.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in financial accounting, including general ledger, month-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliances, and audit processes, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present financial information clearly.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Prior experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering company is preferred.
