Role Description The Engineer Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashik. This role oversees daily engineering operations on the shop floor, including planning and monitoring production activities, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring equipment and processes run safely and efficiently. The Engineer Supervisor guides a team of engineers and technicians, assigns tasks, provides technical support, and ensures adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing process data, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and supply chain. The role also involves preparing reports, supporting audits, training team members on procedures and safety practices, and contributing to the optimization of cost, productivity, and product quality.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in engineering principles, preferably in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering.
Experience supervising engineering or technical teams in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
Knowledge of production planning, process control, and basic maintenance practices.
Understanding of quality standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, lean, Kaizen).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for technical and operational issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and guide staff.
Ability to document procedures, prepare reports, and use basic computer tools and production software.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in an engineering discipline; prior experience in wheel or automotive component manufacturing is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Nashik and adapt to shift-based or extended hours when required by operations.
