Role Description The Relationship Manager – B2B Mutual Funds Sales will manage and grow business relationships with institutional and corporate clients, focusing on mutual fund distribution and related investment solutions. This full-time hybrid role is based in Tamluk, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements as business needs permit. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying prospective B2B clients, conducting meetings and presentations, understanding client investment objectives, and recommending suitable mutual fund products and services. The role involves regular follow-ups, portfolio reviews, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and post-sales support. The Relationship Manager will also monitor market trends, maintain accurate records of client interactions, and work towards achieving sales targets while upholding regulatory and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Strong relationship management, client servicing, and business development skills in B2B financial services.
Sound understanding of mutual funds, investment products, and basic financial planning concepts.
Ability to conduct client meetings, deliver product presentations, and negotiate effectively.
Proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software for reporting and analysis.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
Knowledge of AMFI regulations and mutual fund distribution compliance requirements; AMFI/NISM certification is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant sales or advisory experience in financial services is preferred.
Self-motivated, target-oriented work approach, with the ability to manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
