Role Description The Fundraiser will play a key role in securing financial support for Sehyogg Manav Foundation’s programs and initiatives. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ghaziabad, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying potential donors, building and maintaining relationships with individuals, corporations, and institutions, and preparing compelling proposals and presentations. The Fundraiser will organize and support fundraising campaigns and events, manage donor communication and outreach, and track fundraising activities and outcomes. The role also involves collaborating with program and communications teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals and reporting on progress to leadership.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage donor relationships, including outreach, follow-up, and stewardship.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive proposals, presentations, and fundraising materials.
Experience planning or supporting fundraising campaigns, events, or drives for non-profit or social impact organizations.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple initiatives.
Comfortable using basic office software and online tools for documentation, reporting, and donor database management.
Motivation to work in the social sector, with sensitivity to diverse communities and a commitment to ethical fundraising practices.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, including on-site work in Ghaziabad.
Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Social Work, Development Studies, Business, Communications) or equivalent experience in non-profit fundraising is preferred.
