Job Purpose
The Corporate Fundraising & Event Coordinator is responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships with corporate entities, as well as planning and executing high-impact fundraising events. This role bridges business development, corporate social responsibility (CSR) outreach, and end-to-end event management to mobilize resources and expand organizational impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, research, and engage prospective corporate partners, CSR heads, and business sponsors.
Pitching & Proposals: Draft tailored corporate sponsorship proposals, pitch decks, and partnership models (CSR grants, employee giving, cause-related marketing).
Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with existing corporate donors and sponsors to ensure long-term retention and higher donor lifetime value.
CSR Compliance: Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure corporate funding agreements align with organizational guidelines and relevant CSR legislation.
2. Event Planning & Coordination
End-to-End Execution: Conceptualize, plan, and execute fundraising events, corporate galas, charity drives, kiosks, and campaign launches.
Vendor & Venue Management: Source, negotiate with, and supervise event venues, AV providers, printers, merchandise suppliers, and catering teams.
Budget Management: Prepare event budgets, monitor expenditures, track revenue goals, and maximize ROI on every activity.
Logistics & On-Site Operations: Direct on-site event setup, ticketing, branding, volunteer deployment, run-of-show schedules, and post-event teardown.
3. Marketing, Communication & Stewardship
Collateral Development: Collaborate with design/marketing teams to produce compelling event assets, invitation packages, and promotional materials.
Donor Acknowledgement: Oversee prompt post-event donor acknowledgements, tax-deductible receipt dispatch, and impact reporting.
Social Proof & Reporting: Prepare post-event summary reports detailing financial performance, engagement metrics, and qualitative highlights for stakeholders and sponsors.
