We’re hiring: Freelance Pharmaceutical Events & Contracts Manager
VLH Events is looking for an experienced pharmaceutical events professional to join us on a long-term freelance basis.
We’ve managed one of our pharmaceutical client accounts for five years, and it has grown significantly. We’re now building a dedicated team around the account and need someone who can take real ownership of their projects, build a strong relationship with the client and become a consistent part of the team.
The role:
- Freelance, minimum 1-year term with scope to extend
- Around 2 days of paid hours per week
- Start date around end of October
- Hours spread across Monday–Friday, rather than two fixed working days
- Remote working with flexible hours
- Minimal event travel within Europe
- Hourly rate: dependent on experience
This working pattern is important. We need someone who can check in and keep projects moving across the working week, respond to time-sensitive client needs and provide continuity across the account. Some days will need more input than others.
You’ll be managing healthcare and pharmaceutical events from brief through to completion, including client communication, HCP/patient contracting and logistics, budgets, SOWs and change orders, project tracking, compliance and close-out.
We’re looking for someone with at least 3–5 years’ experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences events who is confident working independently and taking full ownership of their projects.
This could be a great fit for an experienced freelancer who wants a long-term client account and regular work while keeping the flexibility of freelance life.
