Senior US Tax Accountant

The Offer:
Salary: $2,000 USD / Month (Net)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 15:00 – 23:00 CET (9 AM – 5 PM NY Time)
Location: Remote (Work from Home)
The Opportunity:
We are recruiting for a US-based law firm. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant who is interested in specializing in US Taxation & Accounting. You will work directly with the US team, applying your accounting knowledge while developing and utilizing your expertise in American tax laws and software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Corporate and State Form Tax Preparation (Form 1120, Form 1065, and Form 1120-S)
Assistance with IRS and State Notice Resolution
Form 1099 Filing and W9 Assistance
Coding in QuickBooks with Manual Journal Entries
Creation of Bank Rules in QuickBooks
Accounting Cleanup Projects
AP and Payroll Assistance
Accounting and Tax Projections
Qualifications:
Experience with QuickBooks Online, including transaction coding, bank feeds, reconciliations, and basic journal entries (or willingness to learn quickly).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
High level of attention to detail, particularly with data entry and financial documents.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs without constant direction.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Basic understanding of corporate tax return structures, with a willingness to expand knowledge of US taxation.
Proactive communication and regular updates.
Previous US accounting or tax experience preferred.
