JOB DESCRIPTION – HR MANAGER
Location: Tenkasi
Reports to: Managing Director
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager for TRIMAX, a highly labour intensive umbrella manufacturing factory. The HR Manager will lead recruitment, labour law compliance, worker welfare and employee relations for a large shop-floor workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and run recruitment of workers, supervisors and staff to meet production needs.
Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Minimum Wages, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity and other labour laws.
Manage attendance, payroll inputs, leave and overtime records.
Prepare for and handle social-compliance audits by international buyers.
Look after worker welfare: canteen, hostel, safety and grievance handling.
Maintain discipline and good industrial relations; handle domestic inquiries.
Run induction and training programmes; reduce absenteeism and attrition.
Maintain HR records, statutory registers and monthly HR MIS reports.
Report HR performance and major workforce issues to management.
Requirements
Graduate / MBA / MSW (HR or Labour Welfare preferred).
10+ years of experience in HR, including at least 5 years in a factory of 200+ workers.
Experience in garment, footwear, leather or similar labour intensive manufacturing preferred.
Strong knowledge of Tamil Nadu labour laws and statutory compliance.
Experience with export buyer social-compliance audits preferred.
Fluent in Tamil, with working English for reports.
Willing to work full-time on-site at Tenkasi.

Salary: Starting from ₹6 lakh per annum, based on experience.
