JOB DESCRIPTION - PRODUCTION MANAGER*
Location: Tenkasi
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and capable Production Manager to oversee the complete production operations at TRIMAX which is a highly labour intensive factory. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning and managing production activities, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining quality standards, controlling production wastage, and effectively managing the production team.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.
* Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved on time.
* Supervise and manage production staff and workers.
* Allocate manpower and resources effectively according to production requirements.
* Monitor the production process and ensure smooth workflow.
* Maintain and improve product quality standards.
* Coordinate with the Quality, Stores, Purchase, Maintenance, and other departments.
* Monitor the availability and proper utilization of raw materials.
* Minimize production wastage, downtime, and operational losses.
* Ensure proper maintenance and efficient utilization of machinery and equipment.
* Identify production-related issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
* Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
* Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and discipline.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and workplace standards.
* Implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
* Conduct regular meetings with the production team and communicate work plans and requirements.
* Report production performance and major operational issues to management.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
