About the Role
We are seeking an OpenTelemetry & Collector Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise observability solutions. This role focuses on telemetry collection architecture, collector deployments, enrichment strategies, and performance optimization across hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain OpenTelemetry architectures and standards.
Deploy and manage Windows and Linux collectors.
Configure telemetry pipelines, parsing, enrichment, and labeling.
Implement dual-export and multi-destination telemetry strategies.
Optimize collector performance, scalability, and reliability.
Support tracing, metrics, and logging initiatives.
Establish observability best practices and governance.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry architecture and collectors.
Experience with Windows and Linux administration.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk, or similar platforms.
Understanding of distributed tracing and telemetry pipelines.
Experience with log parsing, enrichment, and transformation.
Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale observability deployments.
Kubernetes and cloud-native monitoring experience.
Performance engineering expertise.
