AI Coach - Agentic Engineering

We’re Hiring: As an Agentic Engineering Coach, you will help accelerate the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic software development practices across our engineering teams. Combining hands-on software development expertise with deep experience using AI tooling and modern workflows, you will have the following focus:
Team Coaching & Enablement: Work directly with engineering teams to embed AI-assisted and agentic development practices into daily workflows. Coach teams on balancing engineering quality, security, and maintainability with AI-assisted development.
Delivery & Productivity Optimization: Partner with engineering leadership to identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness and productivity through the use of AI tooling, automation, and agent orchestration.
Prototyping & Architecture: Remain hands-on by building prototypes, examples, and reference implementations demonstrating effective agentic development patterns.
Prompting & Validation Best Practices: Help engineers develop effective prompting, validation, and review techniques to ensure robust model outputs.
Metrics & Impact Measurement: Help teams measure and understand the tangible impact of AI-assisted engineering practices on software delivery outcomes.
Innovation & Standards Evolution: Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices, standards, and guidance. Stay current with emerging agentic development techniques and identify appropriate opportunities for adoption across the organization.
Requirements:
Mandatory:
At least 6 years of professional experience in software engineering.
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and agentic development platforms.
Experience working with MCP-based tooling and integrations.
Experience creating reusable AI workflows, engineering accelerators, or developer productivity tooling.
Experience helping teams adopt new technologies and engineering practices at scale, including running workshops, communities of practice, or technical enablement programmes.
Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems.
Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
Experience working in large-scale digital, retail, or eCommerce environments.
Portuguese residency is mandatory and currently based in Portugal
Professional English proficiency (C1)
