Our client is a premium, high-stakes poker media and entertainment brand founded by a Hong Kong-based entrepreneur and internationally famous poker champion. We blend cinematic production values with the drama of the world's biggest games to build a new content universe for poker fans worldwide.
Our shows generate a large and growing library of short-form content, and we're building the publishing operation to get it in front of the right audiences consistently, on every platform we use.
The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager to run the day-to-day publishing operation across our social channels. Working from the marketing plan, you'll own the content calendar, prepare and publish a high volume of short-form video and posts in English and Chinese, manage community activity, and report on performance so each week's publishing is better informed than the last.
What You’ll Do
Own the publishing calendar across all social channels — planning, scheduling, and publishing content on a consistent daily cadence.
Prepare supplied assets for each platform — captions, hooks, thumbnails, metadata, aspect ratios, and light edits — to platform-native standards.
Write and publish bilingual copy in English and Chinese, consistent with brand voice and guidelines.
Work with the in-house poker content and data team to turn hands, stats, and match-ups into timely posts.
Coordinate with editors and post-production partners on asset requests, turnaround times, and an organized, searchable clip library.
Manage community engagement and moderation — comments, messages, and escalation of sensitive issues.
Track channel performance (reach, views, watch time, engagement, follower growth) and deliver weekly reports with clear recommendations.
Monitor platform trends, format changes, and comparable channels, and feed insights into the content plan.
Follow platform rules and internal guidelines on promotional content and third-party rights, raising questions before content goes live.
What You Bring
3+ years of hands-on social media management, owning a publishing calendar and channel performance for a consumer, media, or entertainment brand.
Demonstrated experience running a high-volume short-form video publishing cadence across multiple platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other major platforms, including Chinese-language platforms.
Working ability with light editing and design tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva).
Experience with scheduling tools and platform analytics, and the ability to report results clearly.
Fluent written English and Chinese (Traditional and/or Simplified); Cantonese and/or Mandarin fluency.
Based in the Hong Kong region (this is a remote role).
Bonus: interest in poker, sports, or competitive gaming content.
