CTO-cum-Co Founder (equity based only)

Role Description The CTO-cum-Co Founder will lead the end-to-end technical vision and execution of GreenLedger’s products and platforms in a full or part time, remote role based in Singapore area. This role involves architecting scalable systems, guiding software development teams, and driving product development from concept to deployment, with a strong focus on data quality, reliability, and usability. The individual will collaborate closely with the founding team to translate sustainability and business requirements into clear technical roadmaps and IT strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on coding, reviewing technical designs, managing projects and timelines, setting engineering best practices, and building a high-performing technical culture. The CTO-cum-Co Founder will also contribute to fundraising discussions, technology partnerships, and long-term innovation planning as a key equity-holding member of the leadership team.
Qualifications
Strong Software Development skills, including experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, and data-driven applications.
Proficiency in Architecture and IT Strategy, with the ability to design scalable systems and align technology decisions with business goals.
Demonstrated experience in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
Proven Product Development skills, from discovery and prototyping through testing, iteration, and launch.
Prior experience in a startup or early-stage environment, ideally in climate tech, sustainability, or data/analytics domains.
Ability to build, mentor, and lead diverse technical teams, fostering inclusive and collaborative work practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort making trade-offs between speed, quality, and scalability.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
