International Growth & Social Media Executive
Social Media | Digital Marketing | Business Partnerships
Company: Edvice - International Education Consultancy; Location: Pakistan (100% Remote); Employment: Full-time; Salary: Depending on Experience + performance-based commission;
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10 am-6 pm UK time (one-hour lunch break); Saturday, 10 am-1 pm UK time.
About Edvice
Edvice is a growing international education consultancy helping students pursue higher education opportunities abroad. Our primary destination is the United Kingdom, alongside the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe.
We are seeking a creative, commercially minded and proactive professional to strengthen our digital presence, establish strategic partnerships and drive measurable business growth.
This is not simply a social media posting or administrative role. We need someone who can independently develop ideas, produce professional content, identify commercial opportunities, build partnerships and take ownership of results.
The position combines two primary responsibilities: social media management and business development, alongside international education and admissions support.
1. Social Media Management & Digital Marketing
You will take ownership of Edvice's social media presence, producing engaging content and executing campaigns designed to generate genuine student enquiries.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with university intakes, application deadlines and business priorities.
Independently design professional graphics, carousels, educational posts, promotional materials and short-form videos.
Develop original content ideas, compelling hooks, video scripts and persuasive captions.
Create and edit content using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent professional tools.
Manage Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube, adapting content for each platform.
Research relevant trends and develop creative approaches to communicating international education opportunities.
Produce informative content covering university admissions, study destinations, scholarships, application deadlines and common student concerns.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns targeting undergraduate, postgraduate and research applicants.
Maintain consistent branding, visual quality and professional communication.
Monitor engagement, respond to relevant enquiries and convert social media interest into consultations.
Track campaign performance, qualified leads and conversions to continuously improve results.
We value measurable outcomes over superficial engagement. Your content should contribute to brand recognition, student enquiries and successful enrolments.
2. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
You will expand Edvice's referral network and establish new channels for international student recruitment.
We need someone comfortable approaching potential partners, initiating professional conversations, building relationships and maintaining consistent follow-up.
Key responsibilities:
Research potential partners, including schools, colleges, education consultants and other relevant organisations.
Build targeted prospect lists and identify appropriate decision-makers.
Conduct proactive outreach through LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp and other professional channels.
Prepare personalised partnership proposals and outreach messages communicating the value of working with Edvice.
Arrange introductory meetings with prospective partners and professionally present our services.
Support partner onboarding and maintain productive relationships with existing referral partners.
Develop initiatives encouraging partners to refer suitable prospective students.
Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, follow-ups and referral opportunities.
Track partnership performance, including enquiries, applications and enrolments generated.
You should be capable of independently identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining momentum without continuous supervision.
3. International Education & Admissions Support
Although your primary focus will be marketing and business development, you must have sufficient international education knowledge to communicate confidently with prospective students, parents and business partners.
You will also support Edvice's wider consultancy operations when required.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Handling initial student enquiries and explaining international admissions processes.
Understanding general eligibility criteria, application requirements and differences between study destinations.
Discussing study pathways, university options, application timelines and required documentation.
Qualifying prospective student enquiries and arranging consultations.
Assisting with routine application-related administration and document coordination.
Maintaining professional communication with prospective students and referral partners.
Referring enquiries requiring specialist admissions or immigration advice appropriately.
Knowledge of UK university admissions, postgraduate study and CAS procedures is particularly valuable. Experience with ApplyBoard, StudyIn, direct university portals, PhD/MRes applications or ATAS requirements would be advantageous.
Important: This position primarily focuses on generating business through digital marketing and strategic partnerships. It is not a full-time application-processing or specialist admissions counselling role.
4. Candidate Requirements
We are particularly interested in candidates who combine creative execution, commercial confidence and strong organisational skills.
Essential requirements:
A bachelor's degree.
Demonstrable experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation, alongside the ability to undertake business development.
Strong proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe or equivalent graphic design and video-editing software.
Ability to independently conceptualise, design, edit and publish professional social media content.
Excellent written and spoken English, including professional communication with international students and business partners.
A proactive approach to prospect research, outreach, relationship-building and commercial follow-up.
Understanding of international education and university admissions, particularly for the UK.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
Reliable internet connection, suitable remote working environment and availability for our UK-aligned schedule.
Particularly desirable:
Experience in international education, student recruitment or an education consultancy.
Demonstrable success generating leads or conversions through social media.
B2B outreach, partnership development or lead-generation experience.
Experience managing an organisation's social media accounts rather than exclusively personal accounts.
Familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, campaign analytics and lead tracking.
Experience with CRM systems and business development pipelines.
Knowledge of UK admissions and other international study destinations.
Candidates who can demonstrate independently executed campaigns, a strong creative portfolio and genuine commercial initiative are particularly encouraged to apply.
5. What Success Looks Like
During your first three months, you will be expected to establish a consistent content calendar, improve Edvice's digital presence, develop a structured partnership pipeline and begin generating measurable business opportunities.
Performance will be assessed against agreed objectives, including content quality and consistency, qualified student enquiries, consultation and application conversions, partnership outreach, new referral relationships, accurate reporting and ownership of responsibilities.
We value candidates who take initiative, learn from performance data and continuously improve their results.
6. Salary & Career Development
The salary is PKR 35,000-45,000 per month, depending on experience and demonstrated ability, with additional performance-based commission.
Compensation and career progression may be reviewed following successful completion of probation, subject to performance and business requirements.
This position offers an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of Edvice's marketing and commercial growth, develop international business relationships and progress professionally as the company expands.
7. How to Apply
We want to see evidence of your abilities, not simply a list of software skills or previous job titles.
Please submit:
Updated CV: Highlight relevant marketing, social media, business development or international education experience.
