Role Description As a WordPress Developer at Atharv Dev Web Agency, you will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for various clients. Responsibilities include developing custom themes and plugins, implementing front-end designs, and ensuring sites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance. You will collaborate with designers and project managers to translate requirements into functional, scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates and maintenance. The role also involves testing new features, improving user experience, and adhering to best practices in code quality and documentation. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Web Development and Back-End Web Development, including WordPress theme and plugin customization.
Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design for implementing clean, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
Experience with Responsive Web Design to ensure websites perform well across devices and screen sizes.
Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common WordPress frameworks or builders.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of website performance optimization, security best practices, and SEO fundamentals.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with team members and clients.
Previous experience developing WordPress sites for agencies or multiple clients is preferred; relevant certifications or a portfolio are a plus.
