Role Description The Mathematiklehrer role at Finance Across Borders is a full-time, remote position focused on delivering high-quality mathematics instruction that supports members’ understanding of finance-related concepts. On a day-to-day basis, the Mathematiklehrer designs and delivers online lessons, creates engaging learning materials, and adapts teaching strategies to varying levels of mathematical proficiency. Responsibilities include planning and structuring lessons, aligning content with the club’s educational goals, and collaborating with club leaders to integrate mathematics into finance-focused workshops and projects. The role also involves providing feedback, evaluating learners’ progress, and continuously improving teaching methods based on participant outcomes and feedback.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to diverse learner needs.
Status as a Qualified Teacher or equivalent teaching credential, with proven classroom or online teaching experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for remote instruction and collaboration.
Comfort with digital teaching tools and virtual learning platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and coordinate with a global student-led team.
Interest in finance education and willingness to connect mathematical content to financial applications.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field is preferred.
